What the numbers show
Total current account credit/revenue, Credit/Revenue (US dollar) is currently reported for 197 countries. The highest value is 4.87 trillion in United States; the lowest is 76.26 million in Montserrat.
The median across all reporting countries is 20.38 billion, and the mean is 202.29 billion.
The gap between the highest and lowest reporting country is a factor of about 63,883.
Over the past decade 169 countries rose and 26 fell. The largest increase was in Guyana (up 587.9%), and the largest decrease in Venezuela (down 60.4%).
